Dog Surfing Lessons
BRING YOUR PUP TO SURF AT SOUTH PAW-DRE ISLAND!!
Meet your furry surf instructor Archer, our surfing golden retriever, as he gives a surfing demonstration! Then buckle up your pup in your doggy lifejacket and hit the waves! We use safe soft boards, on small waves in shallow water where its not too ruff, a very safe experience for your four legged friend. This is a great social media photo opportunity for you and your dog! The lesson will last for 1/2 hour, and there is no charge if your pup says no way. Please bring your pup's favorite treats to reward him, and come prepared to get in the water with him as well. Archer works for tips, preferably in the shape of Milk Bones. Leashes are required at all times.

We will meet you on the beach at the south end of the Island at Isla Blanca Beach Park next to the rock jetty. After you enter the park drive past Dolphin Cove then turn in by the big Jesus statue. Park in the small parking lot by the Bait Stand, lessons are held near the jetty. Look for our black truck with bright color surfboards, or we may be on the beach in the water with a lesson, so walk to the water's edge and you'll see the bright surfboards, students and instructors.
WHAT DO I BRING?
Bring swimwear, sunblock, towel, water, shoes or flip flops, water bowl and your puppy's favorite treats,.
LEASH LAW:
Leashes are required AT ALL TIMES, or you can be fined.
SAFETY:
• Dog surf lessons are held on small waves in very shallow water.
• Safe soft surfboards are used for the lessons.
• Doggy life jackets are recommended, but not provided.
• If your dog bites, or doesn't like strangers, please let us know. In that case we will teach you how to get your pup shredding.
• Not all dogs like the water, we will not force any dog to surf.
BE ON TIME!
Be sure to arrive at the beach at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson. Get changed into your swimwear, apply sunblock, and ready to get in the water before your scheduled lesson begins to maximize your fun!
PRICING:
Doggy surf lessons are $30. We do not accept credit cards, cash or check only. There is a $12 per vehicle park entrance fee at Isla Blanca Beach Park. We offer surfing pictures of you and your pup by request for only $10/all images.

CANCELLATIONS:
If you are not going to make it for your scheduled lesson, please give us a courtesy call in advance.
