SURFBOARD RENTALS:

 
Surfboard rentals are available daily for anyone wanting to give surfing in South Padre Island a try whether you take surfing lessons or not. Surfboard Rentals are $30/day and can be used anywhere on South Padre Island, you do not have to stay at Isla Blanca Park to rent a surfboard. Wetsuit rentals are available in the winter for $10/day. Most South Padre Surf Company surfing lesson students will want to continue surfing after their lesson or another day while you are here. Surfboard rentals are available daily, reservations are not required. Board rentals are due back by dark regardless of what time of day you rent the surfboard, no overnight rentals.

South Padre Surf Company has a large selection of soft surfboard rentals available for you to choose from, ranging in size from 6' up to 11' surfboards. South Padre Island has the best surf in the Gulf of Mexico and offers surf that is safe and fun regardless of your surfing abilities. With a gradually sloping sand bottom, the waves in close are perfect for beginner surfers and those wanting to try to accomplish surfing on their own for the first time, while the waves out farther are great for intermediate and advanced surfers wanting to do surfboard rentals here on South Padre Island. We do not rent hard fiberglass surfboards for safety reasons.

SUP rentals are available for $40/day. Free basic SUP lesson included!
